ASTA Teams With National Airlines To Send
ASTA Member Agents and Companions To Las Vegas

Viva Las Vegas! Great Escapes Tours!

Alexandria, Va., Nov. 2, 2001: National Airlines is offering each travel agent member of the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) attending ASTA's 71st World Travel Congress, Nov. 4-7, 2001, at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City, a free round-trip to Las Vegas and rates as low as $29 for a companion traveler. "At a critical time, National Airlines has once again shown its appreciation for travel agents and its support for ASTA, the representative of the travel agent community," said Richard M. Copland, CTC, ASTA president and CEO.

"National Airlines sees travel agents as business partners now more than ever," said Michael J. Conway, president and CEO, National Airlines. "That's why we continue to pay 10 percent uncapped commission, and that's why we have decided to show agents our appreciation at this difficult time." Any qualifying travel agent who books a free ticket can, at the same time, book a companion on the same itinerary for a special low rate. Examples of companion rates are: LAS to LAX, $29; LAS to ORD, $78; LAS to PHL, $117.

To take advantage of this offer, a travel agent must be a current, active ASTA member with at least one of the following: a valid Travelsellers.com number, valid credentials from the International Airlines Travel Agent Network (IATAN) or valid credentials from the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA). Qualified agents should visit the National Airlines booth at the Trade Show at the 2001 ASTA World Travel Congress. Free tickets are valid for confirmed travel in L class through May 15, 2002, excluding Fridays and Sundays. For more information, see www.nationalairlines.com/agent.
