AVIS GIVES
CUSTOMERS FREE WEEKEND RENTALS

Receive Free Two-day Rental Certificate for
Qualifying Five-day Rentals
TORONTO,
ON (February 13, 2006) - Avis Rent A Car
System, Inc. has launched its latest "Drive Free"
promotion giving customers free two-day weekend
rentals for every weekly rental of at least five
days. Between February 6, 2006 and June
25, 2006, customers who enroll at avis.ca may earn
up to three free weekend certificates to be
redeemed for travel through December 16,
2006.
"At Avis,
we're always looking for ways to give our customers
more," said Donna Arnott, director of marketing for
Avis Canada. "We believe that free weekend
rentals are a great way to say thank you for your
business."
For
additional information on how to register for the
Drive Free promotion or to make a reservation,
customers should visit www.avis.ca or call
1-800-TRY-AVIS (879-2847). Customers need a valid
Avis Wizard number to enroll in the program and
participate. Customers may obtain a Wizard number
by calling 1-800-879-2847. Customers that have
enrolled in previous "Drive Free" promotions will
have their enrollment continued unless they choose
to opt out by calling Avis at 1-800-352-7900. Free
rental certificates will be mailed to customers
after completion of just one rental. Rentals
of five consecutive days or longer, from Canada,
the United States, Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin
Islands qualify. Free rental certificates may be
redeemed at all participating locations in Canada,
the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin
Islands, but are not redeemable at Newark,
LaGuardia and JFK airports or at any metropolitan
NY location.
