The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is pleased to host the sixth

2006. For the first time at FSS, short courses will be also offered on

Monday, May 1, 2006. See the attached brochure for more information on the

Symposium.

Participants can now register for the FREE Symposium and short courses on

the FSS website at http://www.freshwaterspills.net/fss06.

We encourage you to register early to ensure that you can attend the short

course(s) of your choice and to take advantage of the negotiated discounted

rate for accommodation at the DoubleTree Hotel and Executive Meeting

Center, Portland-Lloyd Center where the Symposium will take place.

FSS 2006 will focus on planning, prevention, and response issues specific

to freshwater spills, including the topic of preparedness and response to

oil spills resulting from natural disasters. The symposium will also

continue to emphasize the frequently understated impact of oil spills in

inland water bodies.

We hope that you will join us for what will certainly be, once again, a

great event!

Sincerely,

FSS 2006 Design Team
